Restylane use hyaluronic acid in gel form to create fuller lips and erase lines around the nose and mouth. What is Restylane Defyne?

Restylane Defyne is another hyaluronic acid dermal filler that utilizes the same XpresHAn TechnologyTM as Refyne. It can also be used to treat both marionette lines and the nasolabial folds (lines around the nose). Defyne uses a unique cross-linking gel to help support facial expressions and treat deeper lines around the nose and mouth. Unlike other fillers and injections, Defyne does not limit facial movement. Defyne is proven to help patients maintain expressions and movement in their face. Both Refyne and Defyne can help decrease the presence of facial lines. What is Restylane Refyne?

Restylane has produced a variety of injectable products including Restylane Refyne. Refyne is specially designed to treat the lines that appear around the mouth. Refyne is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that utilizes XpresHAn TechnologyTM to treat the lines that appear at the corners of the mouth and go towards the chin. These lines are sometimes referred to as “marionette lines” because of the similar appearance to the lines on a puppet. Refyne is also engineered to treat the lines that appear on either side of the nose that extend to the corners of the mouth.

Restylane’s newest filler: Kysse came out in May of 2020. Kysse is a lip filler that utilizes XpresHAn Technology for smooth, natural-looking, and natural-feeling results. Do not use either filler if you have severe allergies or a history of severe reactions (anaphylaxis) to hyaluronic acid. Talk to your doctor if you are planning other cosmetic treatments (i.e., lasers and chemical peels) as there can be complications when combining different procedures.

The most common side effects are swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, itching at the injection site, and impaired hand function.
