Mad at your metabolism? When it feels like you are doing everything right from workouts to dieting, it can be frustrating to still miss your body goals. That is where MIC injections come in. MIC is an acronym for three compounds: L-Methionine, Inositol, and Choline. Each of these compounds affects how the body metabolizes and burns fat. For people who can’t seem to beat their genetics while trying to meet their weight loss goals, MIC injections may be what you need.

What Are L-Methionine, Inositol, And Choline?

The three main compounds in MIC injections are all lipotropic agents. Simply put, lipotropic agents are compounds that stop fat from building up in the liver. When we exercise or workout our body has a few options of what to burn when expending energy. Often our bodies burn carbohydrates and store fat in reserves around the body. How much fat an individual stores and how fast their burn carbs and fat are mitigated by genetics. This is why there aren’t one-size answers for everyone when it comes to dieting. This is why compounds like L-Methionine, Inositol, and Choline are helpful. Here is what each of them specifically does:

  • L-Methionine: L-Methionine is a naturally occurring amino acid in our bodies. As an amino acid, it is a building block in many of our body’s hormones and proteins. This includes both cysteine and taurine. Proteins, enzymes, and hormones are all valuable to the metabolic process, and increases in L-Methionine has shows improvements in how individuals burn fat.
  • Inositol: In the past Inositol was once considered part of the Vitamin B family. However, the body is able to naturally synthesize it. This is what it is a carbohydrate. In weight management, Inositol when combined with other Vitamin B supplements and compounds like Choline can break down fat more effectively in the liver.
  • Choline: Choline is also often mistaken as part of the Vitamin B family because of it’s role in metabolizing fats. Choline works in the kidneys, liver, and gallbladder to break down and process nutrients and toxins. When combined with Inositol and L-Methionine it can help boost metabolisms.
